Cardamom

Cardamom known to be one of the oldest spices originated as wild plant in western ghats Cardamom hills  in southern Indian. Cardamom pods are spindle shaped and contain few black seeds, due to unique flavor green  cardamom  mainly cultivated in Central province, part of Sabaragamuwa and some part of Ratnapura and Galle. There are three type of green Cardamom found based on the shape of inflorescence. Cardamon is widely used in sweet & savory dishes and in hot beverages it has number of health benefits, Reduce blood  pressure, blood sugar prevents chronically diseases, improve oral health & general health.
